Purpose Partner is a free accountability tool designed to help users reduce compulsive pornography consumption through browser-based blocking and partner notifications. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what information we collect, how we use it, and what we do not collect.

In short: We only collect the minimum data needed to pair you with an accountability partner and send blocked-site alerts. We do not sell data, show ads, or store your full browsing history.

Information We Collect

Name and email — When you sign in with Google OAuth.
Unique user ID — Generated by Firebase to identify your account.
Connected partner ID — The 8-character code of the person monitoring your activity.
Blocked-site events — Only attempts to access known pornography domains, intercepted by the LaviX app/extension on Android, Chrome/Edge. We do not log the full URL — only the domain category and timestamp.
Heartbeat timestamps — Periodic signals confirming the extension is active on your device.

What We Do NOT Collect

Your full browsing history — only blocked pornography domain attempts.
Activity from other apps (Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
Activity from other browsers (Firefox, Samsung Internet, etc.).
Activity from incognito/private tabs unless you manually enable the extension in incognito mode.
Desktop or iOS browsing activity.
Location data, contacts, or device files.

How We Use Your Information

Authenticate your account via Google Sign-In.
Pair you with your accountability partner using the 8-character code.
Send real-time alerts to your partner when a blocked domain is accessed.
Display heartbeat status and activity summaries on your partner's dashboard.
Maintain security and reliability of the service.

Google Sign-In

Purpose Partner uses Google Sign-In solely for authentication. We request only your name, email address, and profile picture (if available). We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google services.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The only sharing that occurs is between you and the accountability partner you explicitly connect with via your pairing code. No third-party monitoring team, advertiser, or analytics company has access to your data.

Data Storage & Security

Data is stored using Google Firebase services with industry-standard security measures. All data transmission between the LaviX app/extension, our servers, and your partner's dashboard occurs over HTTPS encryption.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. Upon request, we will permanently delete your account, pairing codes, and all blocked-site event records within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. For significant changes, we will notify active users via email.
